  29. Do not confuse data grade lines with leased lines. A data grade line is
  30. simply one that the phone company allegedly checked and made sure was
  31. "balanced". The only thing they can check, however, is your local loop; 
  32. the circuit between your premises and the central office. A data grade
  33. line isn't worth the money (in my opinion) because it still has to
  34. navigate the PSN (Public Switched Network). The only advantage to a data 
  35. grade line is you can bitch at the telco and they are supposed to 
  36. actually pay attention.

  38. A leased line is a point-to-point fixed connection. Both end of the lines 
  39. are balanced and the proper loading for that particular circuit is added. 
  40. The connection is only between the points and no dialing needs to be done.

  48. connection to another ISDN customer. It also goes through the PSN.
